Automatic syncing through Rollout could keep processing the same contacts when many records changed close together, leaving newer contacts and tag updates waiting indefinitely.
The sync now resumes unfinished batches from where it stopped and continues through the backlog. It still rechecks recent records for updates that arrive late.
